The fabric of our business requires exacting standards in quality, manufacturing & installation. At Paradise Residential Awnings, we only uses superior fabrics that will withstand South Florida's harsh climate. Industry staples such as Sunbrella, Weblon, Glen Raven & Ferrari are among the brands we carry. The fabrics from these companies have a strong reputation because they are durable and provide years of fade and stain resistance
There are three standard types of fabric available:
Shade Cloth
This fabric is used for outdoor tensioning projects. It is also common as an indoor, non UV-coated mesh. It comes in a variety of colors, patterns and makes.
Vinyl-laminated polyester
These fabrics were specifically designed for backlighting. They are highly translucent with the lighter colors demonstrating more translucent qualities than the darker colors. These fabrics are resistant to UV light, mildew, water, and are recommended for use in geographic areas with humid climates. Vinyl fabrics are available in many colors and patterns.
Solution-dyed acrylic
This upscale material is unique in its aesthetic beauty. It is highly-resistant to UV light, mildew and water. Acrylic fabric breathes, so moisture does not get trapped in it. Acrylic is dyed and does not wash out. It is generally translucent and has an almost waterproof quality to it.
